FAQ’s
What is provided?
You will be provided with a thoroughly enjoyable 2+ hours as you ride in our air-conditioned buses and see the sites of Nassau while hearing about the islands pirate and colonial history from your knowledgeable tour guides.
Where will we meet the bus?
The Nassau Town and Atlantis tour departs from in front of the cruise pier terminal. From your ship, walk to the terminal. You will be required to walk through the terminal to exit the pier. When you exit the terminal building on the town side, turn left just outside the building door and you will see the Hair Braiding Center. In front of the center will be your guide, holding a white sign with blue letters that says “Discover Nassau Tour” We ask all guests to please plan to be at the designated departure location at least 10 minutes before departure time.
Will it take us back to the ship?
Absolutely. Enjoy all Atlantis has to offer or chose to pull up a chair beside one of the many pools. Explore the Atlantis ‘Ruins’ or ride the water slides. Note that you will need to purchase an Atlantis day pass to fully enjoy the property. As noted above, if you decide to explore the property, you are responsible for arranging your own transportation back to the cruise ship.
Can we take photos?
ABSOLUTELY. Our guides are thrilled to show you their home town and for you to see the beauty in which they live. If you take some great photos and share them, please tag us #discovernassautour, facebook.com/discovernassautour or share them on Trip Advisor along with a review at Trip Advisor. We are just as excited to see your great shots as your friends and family will be.
Tipping
As with most places around the world, tipping is encouraged if you feel that the service you received exceeded your expectations. We are confident that our knowledge guides will do just that. Also, if you have a great experience with us, please share it with your friends verbally along with your social media platforms. If you had a poor experience, please share it with us so we can investigate.
